Seit 2003 hat Thomas Schalla die Leitung der Clanranald Pipeband übernommen und baut diese derzeit zu einer wettbewerbsfähigen Pipeband aus. Neben seinem Studium zum Heilpraktiker, gibt er regelmäßig Workshops und unterrichtet Gruppen und Einzelschüler.
